Belarus to host new talks on the situation in Ukraine

       Belarus will host new talks on the situation in Ukraine. A new round of talks will be held in Minsk on 24 and 26 December. This was announced by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
Ukraine, Russia and the OSCE confirmed their participation.
       The date of the meeting was agreed by French President Francois Hollande, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Russian leader Vladimir Putin over the phone. The Russian president said that the Heads of State stressed the need for further steps in the ceasefire agreed in the first round of the Minsk talks in September.
