PM: Belarus to increase the export of agricultural products by 13%

In 2015 Belarus intends to increase the export of agricultural products by 13% in comparison with 2014. Export proceeds are expected to reach $7 billion, BelTA quotes Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich from the meeting with members of the Belarus parliament, top officials of the Economy Ministry and the Finance Ministry as well as representatives of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus. 

“In accordance with the forecast for 2015 the growth rate of agricultural output is expected to reach 103%, with the export growth rate at 113%,” said the Prime Minister.

Mikhail Myasnikovich remarked that reaching for new markets, improving the effectiveness of sales and work with end exporters instead of focusing on network traders are still priority tasks for Belarusian agricultural manufacturers.
