Observer from Pan-African Parliament: Belarus is a democratic country

Belarus is a democratic country, the observer of the Pan-African Parliament Apphia Nyasha Musavengana told BelTA.

“This is my first time in Belarus and I have already managed to see that it is a very beautiful, peaceful country. I plan to visit the Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War, the Bolshoi Theater. I represent the Pan-African Parliament on youth policy issues. During the press conference of the head of the CEC in the Information Center, I saw a lot of young people who are actively involved in the election campaign. I am sure that we will see a lot of young voters at the polling stations on the main election day,” Apphia Nyasha Musavengana said.
The observer praised the work of the CEC Information Center. “In the 21st century mass media play a huge role. I have already seen representatives of not only Belarusian but also foreign media in the center. This emphasizes that Belarus is a democratic country. This emphasizes the free, open and fair nature of the election. The information center hosts a large number of mass media that report on the course of the election campaign,” she added.
