Belarusian President, Chairman of the Belarusian People's Congress Aleksandr Lukashenko is set to host a meeting of the Presidium of the Belarusian People's Congress on 19 November, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian People's Congress is the supreme representative body of the people's power of the Republic of Belarus, which determines the strategic directions of development of society and the state, ensures the inviolability of the constitutional system, continuity of generations and civil accord.
According to the amendments and additions made to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus following the results of the national referendum on 27 February 2022, the Belarusian People's Congress became a constitutional body.
