Belarus’ PM off to Egypt on official visit

Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko is heading for Egypt on an official visit, BelTA has learned.

 
According to the press service of the government, as part of the official visit to Egypt, Roman Golovchenko is set to hold a series of meetings with the country’s authorities and in particular with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly.
 
The two-day visit will also include a visit to the MAZ service center in Egypt - International Company for Industries and Projects to review MAZ machinery, a ceremony of handing over a new MAZ truck tractor by the General Director of International Company for Industries and Projects to Holding Co. for Maritime and Land Transport (Egyptian Ministry of Transportation) for operational tests.
 
Plans are in place to sign a contract for the sale of MAZ machinery between Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ), the management company of the BelavtoMAZ holding company, and International Company for Industries and Projects.
 
The Belarusian-Egyptian Business Forum will start its work in Cairo on 30 April. It is organized by the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce and the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The prime ministers of Belarus and Egypt are expected to attend the opening ceremony of the forum.
 
According to the press service of the government, the prime minister is also scheduled to meet with Sochi Mayor Aleksei Kopaigorodsky on 29 April.
