Belarusian women members of the main crew and the backup crew of the upcoming flight to the International Space Station took part in a checkup examination of the Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft, BelTA learned from the Roscosmos press service.

According to Roscosmos, “the second fitting” of the piloted spacecraft Soyuz MS-25 took place at site 254 of the Operations and Checkout Building today. After an introductory instruction the cosmonauts occupied their seats in the spacecraft one by one. They were made familiar with the placement of the equipment and the cargoes that will be delivered in the landing module and the crew module and checked the working capacity of the onboard systems in test mode.

Following the established tradition, the crews went to the Baikonur Cosmodrome Museum then and left their autographs there.

Meanwhile, specialists of the Rocket and Space Corporation Energia and relevant enterprises of Roscosmos started disconnecting ground testing equipment and loading the upper stage of the Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft onto a transportation bogie for shipment to site 31 of the Operations and Checkout Building where the upper stage will be coupled with a booster rocket.

The main crew of the Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft includes the Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky, the Belarusian woman participant of the space flight Marina Vasilevskaya, and the NASA astronaut Tracy Dyson. The backup crew includes the Roscosmos cosmonaut Ivan Vagner, the Belarusian woman participant of the space flight Anastasia Lenkova, and the NASA astronaut Donald Pettit. A Soyuz-2.1a booster rocket carrying the Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft is scheduled for launch on 21 March.
