Budpragres 2013 draws 400 major companies from 10 countries

The 21st edition of Budpragres 2013, Belarus’ biggest construction industry expo, has gathered about 400 leading companies from 10 countries, Deputy Minister of Architecture and Construction of Belarus Dmitry Semenkevich said at the opening of the expo.
The participants include companies and organizations from Belarus and other countries, including Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Germany, Denmark, Switzerland and Turkey, which have brought their best products applied in the construction industry. “The forum features the latest samples of building materials, construction technologies. Consumers can get familiar with both sophisticated professional solutions and special-purpose equipment and also with the solutions on how to decorate their summer houses. The range of products is really wide,” Dmitry Semenkevich said.
Dmitry Semenkevich noted that every year the exhibition gets more popular with the organizations that seek to promote their products not only domestically but also abroad. Foreign partners also show an increasingly growing interest in the Belarusian expo. Yet, the Ministry pays special attention to the Belarusian construction materials, machinery and equipment. "This is import substitution. Today, development companies eagerly use Belarusian high-quality products," said Dmitry Semenkevich.
