A trade and logistics center as well as several motorway service outlets will be constructed with the participation of Belarusian specialists in Yartsevo District, Smolensk region of Russia. This is the first stage of the construction plans for trade and logistics facilities in Smolensk region by Belarusian companies. Taking into account favorable geographic position, reasonable terms for land plot allocation for construction and other favorable opportunities for doing business, Minsk tractor and automobile plants are looking into the opportunities of implementing their projects in the region. Partaking in the event was head of the department for economic development, investments, foreign economic activity and entrepreneurship of Smolensk region Viktor Kozhevnikov, head of the Smolensk Office of the Embassy of Belarus in Russia Nikolai Kutsko, head of the association of Russian and Belarusian producers and suppliers of goods, works and services Valery Pashkovich.
The projects will help Belarusian companies increase sales via logistics centers as well as offer the Russian consumer a wide range of services, the embassy noted.
