Belarus to participate in Russian aerospace expo MAKS 2013

       As many as 16 enterprises that belong to the system of the State Defense Industry Committee of Belarus as well as independent defense contractors will represent Belarus at the international aerospace expo MAKS 2013 in the town of Zhukovsky, Moscow region of Russia. As part of the MAKS 2013 expo the Belarusian side intends to hold negotiations and meetings with several heads of corporations and companies of the Russian defense industry and with top officials of the Federal Service for Military and Technical Cooperation of the Russian Federation. The sides are expected to discuss the expansion of cooperation and deeper manufacturing cooperation ties between Belarusian and Russian companies and organizations. Apart from that, representatives of the State Defense Industries Committee, corporations that belong to the Committee’s system, representatives of independent defense contractors are expected to take part in session s of the Business Council under the Interstate Commission for Military and Technical Cooperation of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and the CSTO Coordinating Council for Advertising and Exhibition Activities
    The organizers expect representatives of over 1,000 companies, including 277 foreign ones, to take part in the expo.
