St Petersburg Transport Company has received 39 new high-capacity buses produced at Minsk Automobile Plant. “St Petersburg Transport Company has always prioritized comfort and safety of passengers. Thus, the renewal of the bus fleet is our overriding goal,” the press service informed citing Director General of St Petersburg Transport Company Aleksei Ivin. “We are satisfied with our cooperation with Global BUS, a dealer of Minsk Automobile Plant, which features almost the whole lineup of MAZ buses. With this, the price for Belarusian buses does not exceed Russian mid-market prices. In what concerns the “high capacity” and “super high capacity” segments, MAZ offers the most favorable prices,” he added. The head of the Russian company stressed that the trend has been steadily tilting towards MAZ on the Russian passenger transport market. Buses, which the northern capital of Russia acquired, are fitted with Mercedes-Benz Euro-5 engines.
Minsk Automobile Plant offers over 500 models and modifications of freight vehicles and about 20 models of passenger vehicles.
