BelGee was the top seller of cars in Belarus in Q3 2020, BelTA learned from the company’s Chief Production Engineer Vitaly Bylitsky on 22 October. According to the source, BelGee was the best-selling car brand in Belarus in Q3 2020. This year the company has also started manufacturing Geely Coolray using the full technological cycle. The model enjoys a strong demand in Russia and Belarus.The executive said that BelGee had shipped a pilot batch of two new models to dealerships. Those are Geely Tugella and Geely GS. The former is a premium crossover car that boasts maximum safety and comfort options as well as the latest in car engineering technologies. The latter model is a more affordable hatchback, which will be quite competitive in its price bracket, BelGee believes. BelGee is also working on the electric car Geely Geometry A. The cars’ battery comes in two capacities – 51.9kWh and 61.9kWh. The cruising range of the former is close to 400km (the company has yet to test in winter conditions) while the cruising range of the latter is about 500km. The car boasts adaptive cruise control, an automatic parking system, a lane keeping assistance system, a road sign recognition system, and a safety system that will stop the vehicle before it hits an obstacle regardless of the driver’s actions. The car’s design uses modern materials and engineering solutions.
