Max Mirnyi in Belarus’ first family reality show

Olympic champion Max Mirnyi, his wife and three children, and his father Nikolai Mirnyi have taken part in Belarus’ first family reality show produced by the Belarusian TV and Radio Company.
The project was named “Mirnyi Tour Across Belarus”. Over a week the family of Max Mirnyi visited eight cities. The Mirnyi family went fishing, climbed the Mayak mountain near Braslav, took a steamboat cruise along the Pripyat River, visited the residence of Father Frost in the Belovezhskaya Pushcha, and took part in a sword fight in Lida Castle. The Mirnyi family was accompanied by the production crew of the Belarusian TV and Radio Company. The reality show will premiere on the Belarus 2 and Belarus 24 TV channels in the autumn.
At a meeting with journalists Maxim Mirnyi shared impressions of his participation in the project:
“We wanted to show the TV audience that there are a lot of amazing places in Belarus. The tour was designed to showcase the country’s historical and cultural landmarks. I have not been to the majority of these places before because of the very busy schedule. It was my first tour of this kind, I would like to visit many more places.
The project made us feel like tourists. For example, we lost our way in Molodechno and had to explore the city on our own. Sometimes I forgot that I had a microphone on me”.
