First stage of Belarus-Russia youth forum to be held online on 25 September

 

The first stage of the 8th Belarusian-Russian youth forum will take place in the format of a video conference on 25 September, BelTA learned from Secretary of the Central Committee of the BRSM Youth Union Aleksandra Goncharova.“The forum will be held as part of the 7th Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia. The youth forum has proved to be a good platform for fulfilling the potential of the young generation of the two countries.

 

This year the BRSM, together with the Education Ministry of Belarus and the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs of Russia decided to hold the forum in two stages. The first stage, with the participation of representatives of youth organizations and public associations of Belarus and Russia, starts on 25 September. The national press center will broadcast the video conference on the ZOOM platform. The second stage is planned for December,” said Aleksandra Goncharova.

 

The forum will bring together 60 people: 30 from each side. The solemn opening ceremony will be attended by the BRSM leaders, the National Council for Children and Youth Associations of Russia, as well as honorary guests - representatives of the Belarusian Education Ministry and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia, the Council of the Republic and the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs.
