Belarus’ economic contacts vibrant due to joint work of Foreign Ministry, BCCI, diplomats

Belarus has intensified mutual trade and economic contacts with a number of countries through the joint work with the Foreign Ministry, the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and foreign diplomatic missions, Igor Nazaruk, Deputy Director of Department for Foreign Economic Affairs of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus, announced at a meeting of trade and economic officials of the diplomatic missions accredited in Belarus with the Belarusian business.

“We have intensified mutual trade and economic contacts. We hope that all the investment projects will be implemented for the mutual interests of the parties,” said Igor Nazaruk, and mentioned the effective interaction of the BCCI and the Belarusian Foreign Ministry with the office of the adviser on trade and economic affairs of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Belarus. As a successful example Igor Nazaruk also cited the joint projects with Swiss Franck Muller and Stadler Rail Group, and said they were the joint merit of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Foreign Ministry and of the Minsk Office of the Embassy of Switzerland.

According to the diplomat, the interaction between the Foreign Ministry and Office of the German Economy has been increasingly vibrant.
