Working group for Belarus’ draft medium-term financial program for 2014-2016

An interagency working group has been set up to prepare draft major guidelines for the budget, financial, and tax policies for 2014 and the medium-term financial program for 2014-2016. The draft will be correlated with the social and economic development targets and the major monetary management guidelines of Belarus. The working group will be headed by Vice Premier Piotr Prokopovich. His deputies will be Finance Minister Andrei Kharkovets and Economy Minister Nikolai Snopkov. The working group also includes representatives of the Labor and Social Protection Ministry, the Tax Ministry, the National Bank, and the House of Representatives of the National Assembly. The group will take care of preparing the draft major guidelines for the budget, financial, and tax policies for 2014 and the medium-term financial program for 2014-2016. The group will also coordinate the work to prepare the national budget bill for 2014.
