The Gomel Regional Drama Theater and the Nizhny Novgorod State Academic Drama Theater named after Maxim Gorky will exchange tours for the first time, we learnt from head of the literature section of the theater Irina Oleinik.
“It is the first time we exchange tours with the Nizhny Novgorod Drama Theater that is 215 years old. The theater was the center stage of famous artists like Fyodor Shalyapin, Mikhail Shchepkin, Maria Yermolova, Vera Komissarzhevskaya and modern-day stars like Antonina Samarina, Nikolai Levkoyev, Vladimir Samoilov, and Lyudmila Khityayeva. I hope that the Gomel audience will not be disappointed, but discover new theater personalities, have some fund and get food for thought,” Irina Oleinik said.
