Belarus, Serbia eager to bolster relations within a year

       Belarus and Serbia are eager to make a considerable progress in relations within a year, President he Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said following the talks with President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic in Minsk.
        Of course, we did not loaf during these years, but we failed to accomplish many things. And today we have agreed that we are not only eager to fill in the gap in relations. We are convinced that we will do our best this year to promote Belarus-Serbia relations to a brand-new level in the best interests of our peoples,” Alexander Lukashenko said. “Of course, we will encourage investments both in Belarus and in Serbia supporting investors, business, various industrial programs,” the Belarusian leader said. The Presidents agreed that the two countries will jointly manufacture goods in Belarus and Serbia and export them to the markets of other countries.
President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic has presented the Order of the Republic of Serbia to Belarus’ President Alexander Lukashenko. 
        The Belarusian head of state has been presented the award in recognition of his contribution to the development and strengthening of peaceful cooperation and friendly relations between the two nations. The order is the highest state award of Serbia.
