Omsk Oblast eager to create facilities in Minsk Oblast technopark

      Omsk Oblast is interested in setting up enterprises at the Minsk Oblast technopark, Omsk Oblast Governor Viktor Nazarov told reporters after the meeting with Chairman of the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee Boris Batura.
      “It makes sense to establish enterprises in Belarus which has a more favorable geographic location. Thus costs can be reduced thanks to logistics. Therefore, we will consider the possibility to implement projects on the territory of the Minsk Oblast technopark. We are also interested in the technologies used in Minsk Oblast to build dairy farms,” Viktor Nazarov noted.
Members of the Omsk Oblast delegation pointed out the importance of setting up facilities to recycle used tires, complex household equipment in the Minsk Oblast technopark. Boris Batura remarked that these projects are beneficial and eco-friendly. Moreover, he informed members of the delegation about the preferences given to those who invest in the manufacturing industry in Belarus.
Boris Batura stressed: “Both regions have a huge mutual interest. Scenarios of cooperation are many. It is necessary to find things that are interesting for businesses in Minsk Oblast and Omsk Oblast. We can consider tourism as well. For example, Naroch region has a big investment potential”.
