Participation of Belarus in the activities of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization was discussed in Beijing, the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry reports.
This topic was in the focus of attention during the meeting of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the People's Republic of China Victor Buria with the Secretary General of Shanghai Cooperation Organization Dmitry Mezentsev. At the talks the sides discussed prospects of development of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, as well as Belarus' participation in the work of the organization.
