Belarus, China discuss mutual visits of top officials

The state and prospects of Belarus-China cooperation were discussed by Foreign Minister of Belarus Vladimir Makei and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Belarus Gong Jianwei at a meeting at the Belarusian Foreign Ministry. Top on the agenda of the meeting was trade and investment cooperation and implementation of major investment projects involving Chinese loans in Belarus, in particular the establishment of the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park. Vladimir Makei and the Chinese diplomat discussed a possibility to exchange visits on the high and highest levels, as well as development of interregional ties and collaboration in the defense and humanitarian fields.
Foreign Minister of Belarus also met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iran to Belarus Mohammad Reza Sabouri to discuss prospects for cooperation in international organizations. The parties exchanged opinions on the state and prospects of developing bilateral relations.
