      Lithuanian companies show interest in tourism industry projects in Grodno Oblast, reporters learned from Grodno Oblast Governor Vladimir Kravtsov during the 12th Belarusian-Lithuanian forum in Lida.  In particular, the possibility of a Lithuanian company taking part in the reconstruction of the palace and park complex Svyatsk near the Augustow Canal was discussed. The reconstructed complex is supposed to get a hotel, a restaurant, and a modern spa. “Negotiations will also be held with representatives of the ARVI group of companies to discuss their purchase of a hotel in Grodno,” said the Governor.
       “We are interested in welcoming more Lithuanian tourists and see ways of making incoming tourism more attractive. This is why we present a lot of tourism projects during the forum. They may be interesting for Lithuania since we have a lot of common history and interests in addition to the common border and geographical proximity,” explained Vladimir Kravtsov.
