The Czech Republic shows interest in taking part in the modernization of the Belarusian industry, BelTA quotes Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Jan Mladek ahead of the Belarusian-Czech business forum. According to the minister, Belarus’ exports have been on a gradual decline since 2014. At the same time he expressed hope that it is a temporary phenomenon and stressed that “cooperation opportunities expand with the relations between Belarus and the European Union warming up.” Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Ulakhovich noted that the interest from all central European countries to Belarus has been reviving over the recent two years.
