        Two Belarusian IT projects became champions during the contest held as part of the UN World Summit on the Information Society Forum 2016, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told reporters.
According to the source, the two projects are the Places To Go project of the Public Administration Academy under the Belarus President and the IT Education project of the educational center of the Belarusian Hi-Tech Park. The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the fact once again confirms Belarus’ status as an internationally recognized training center for IT specialists. At present Belarus is ranked 36th in the information society development index.
