Against the backdrop of the unstable global economic system, Belarus views its membership in the Eurasian Economic Union as a factor of raising the sustainability of the national economy, Ambassador of Belarus to Russia Igor Petrishenko said as he met with the participants of the Eurasian Public Diplomacy School project at the Business and Cultural Complex of the Belarusian Embassy, BelTA reports. The Ambassador spoke about the efforts of the EEU member states to use common approaches in harmonizing the operation of the key sectors of the economy. Belarus is in favor of stepping up efforts to finally lift barriers on the way to building the ‘four freedoms’ space: the free movement of goods, services, money, and workforce, the Ambassador stressed.
