Belarus-Russia parliament to expand international ties

           The schedule for the operation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia and the plan for the Assembly’s international activities in 2016 were approved during the session of the Union State parliamentary body in Moscow.In particular, plans have been made to arrange sessions and meetings of the council, commissions and the scientific advisory board under the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia. Members of the parliament will continue the practice of inviting experts in various areas to discuss topical aspects of the Union State development at seminars, science and practice conferences, roundtable sessions and other events.The parliamentarians noted the successful expansion of the geography of the Parliamentarian Assembly events. As part of the efforts to continue involving regions of Russia and Belarus into integration processes in 2016 members of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia intend to visit Gomel, Veliky Novgorod, Kaliningrad, Smolensk, Saint Petersburg, and other cities.
