Chinese President concludes state visit to Belarus

      President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping concluded the state visit to Belarus. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko saw off the distinguished guest in the airport. The state visit of the Chinese delegation led by China President Xi Jinping to Belarus is a historic and a rather successful event, Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich said as earlier he met with the Chinese leader. “The documents which were signed open a new stage of Belarus-China relations,” Mikhail Myasnikovich said.
      Thus, China will provide loans to Belarus for more than $ 7 billion. According to Economy Minister of Belarus Vladimir Zinovsky, the Belarusian-Chinese interregional business forum resulted in agreements on $3 billion of preferential loans and 4 billion of commercial credits for the financing of business projects. In addition, the Chinese side will provide technical assistance to the amount of 800 million yuan for three years. It will focus primarily on social projects, infrastructure development, initiatives for small and medium-sized businesses.
