Armand Assante might work with a Belarusian filmmaker

When touring the national film studio Belarusfilm Hollywood star Armand Assante said he is ready to work with the Belarusian filmmaker.

When asked about this Armand Assante replied: If I am invited, why not? You have a beautiful film making platform. You have things from 50 years ago. All this has the potential for filmmaking. The actor added that it is too early to talk about specific projects with Belarusfilm, but he said that one independent Belarusian director already invited him to take part in the film project about Belarus in the context of the Second World War. Armand Assante did not tell the journalists what his decision about this would be. In Minsk Armand Assante presented "Dialogue From the Steppes”, a short film he has written and directed, which was screened as part of the Minsk International Festival Listapad. It is a 27-minute short movie about Kazakhstan through the eyes of a foreigner.
