A delegation of the trade unions of Austria, Greece and other countries will travel to Belarus on a working visit

       A delegation of the trade unions of Austria, Greece, Spain, Italy, Cyprus, Portugal and Serbia will travel to Belarus on a working visit from 8 to 11 October at the invitation of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus (FTUB). The delegation members are scheduled to attend a session of the Secretariat of the European Regional Bureau of the World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU/ERB) in Minsk. The FTUB officials and the European trade union delegation will discuss prospects for further cooperation, share experience in the protection of workers’ rights. The WFTU/ERB delegation intends to get familiar with the work experience of the trade union committee at the Minsk Tractor Works, meet with trade union leaders and activists.
        The WFTU/ERB is one of the six regional offices of the WFTU coordinating activities of the WFTU membership organizations in the European region. Today, the WFTU/ERB collaborates with more than 40 European trade union organizations and is headquartered in Nicosia (Cyprus).
