Lukashenko: Charter of Diversity and Multipolarity is designed to promote consensus in security

The Charter of Diversity and Multipolarity in the 21st century is designed to promote consensus in security, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at the 2nd Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security on 31 October, BelTA has learned.

According to the president, the first conference on Eurasian security, held in Minsk in 2023, surprised even the most ardent skeptics, who doubted that it was possible to gather representatives of both the West and the East in such a turbulent time. Its outcome was a draft Charter of Diversity and Multipolarity in the 21st Century, work on which will continue during the current conference.

“We see this document as comprehensive and all-encompassing, without reference to a specific region, in order to contribute to the formation of a consensus in the field of security,” the head of state emphasized.
