Belarus’ Iryna Shymanovich and Renata Zarazua of Mexico have won the Puerto Vallarta Open, BelTA has learned.
In the final the Belarusian-Mexican duo beat the Italian tandem of Angelica Moratelli and Camilla Rosatello, 6-2, 7-6 (7-1).
On their way Belarus’ Iryna Shymanovich and Renata Zarazua of Mexico saw off France’s Elixane Lechemia and Anna Siskova of the Czech Republic, 6-2, 3-6, 10-6, and the Russian duo of Irina Khromacheva and Yana Sizikoca in two straight sets, 6-4, 6-4.
In the singles round of Last 16 Iryna Shymanovich lost to Hailey Baptiste of the United States, 0-6, 1-6.
