Quality control of Belarusian goods and services will be raised to a higher level. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko stated this at a meeting on the main directions of work to improve quality in 2024 and the Quality Mark of the Republic of Belarus.

Before the meeting at the Palace of Independence, the head of state got acquainted with the special exhibition “Mark of Quality: Traditions of the Past and Present.” Managers of Belarusian enterprises and production veterans presented domestic products, which were awarded the Quality Mark, as well as products applying for the State Quality Mark of Belarus in 2024. The range of exhibited products is very wide - from food industry to mechanical engineering.

“Our first working meeting this year at the Presidential level concerns the Year of Quality. We have set a very ambitious goal: to bring quality control of goods and services produced to a higher level,” said Alexander Lukashenko. “Belarus can be proud of its high-quality goods, but to be in trend, to compete with the best world samples, you need to earn this mark of quality.”
