BelAZ ships first 130t dump trucks to Serbia

        OAO BelAZ - Management Company of the BelAZ Holding Company has shipped the first batch of BelAZ-75131 dump trucks (130t payload) to Serbia. According to the company, the vehicles will be used at a copper mining and smelting complex in Bor. Ore reserves (running 1.5% copper) at the mine, which development started in 1903, amount to 90 million tonnes. The total reserves in the area reach 3 million tonnes of copper.   
      “These dump trucks are designed to transport rock mass at open mining fields under different weather conditions. They can be used at large industrial and hydraulic construction sites, motorways as well as in the processing industry,” the company said.
The BelAZ fleet in Serbia numbers a several dozens of vehicles. By the end of the year BelAZ plans to deliver 220t dump trucks to Serbia.   
     BelAZ accounts for a third of the global market of rock haulers and is a leading global supplier of quarry machines.
