        Belarus has everything in place to boost exports of food and textile products to the Republic of Korea, Director of the National Marketing Center at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Valery Sadokho said during a video conference for Belarusian light industry enterprises and food producers interested in selling their products in the Republic of Korea, BelTA learned from the press service of the National Marketing Center. Valery Sadokho emphasized that Belarusian food and textile products have great prospects on the market of the Republic of Korea. According to him, Belarusian enterprises have sufficient production capacities to meet the demand of the Korean market. Certain Belarus-made light industry goods are in great demand in the Asian market. “Belarus produces high-tech fire-resistant fabric for making uniforms. The contract for the supply of such material has already been signed with a customer from Taiwan,” he informed. The expert also made a presentation on how the National Marketing Center can support Belarusian exporters. The event was co-hosted by the Korea Importers Association and was held with the support of the Belarusian Embassy in the Republic of Korea. More than 30 Belarusian enterprises took part in the videoconference. The business event included presentations of the export potential of Belarusian producers like Minsk Sparkling Wines Factory, Molochny Mir, Kommunarka, Orsha Linen Mill and other food and light industry enterprises.
