A labyrinth will become the symbol of the Zabor art project which kicks off in Mogilev.
The exhibition of 40 reproductions of five modern Belarusian artists will be located on the fence. The venue for the event in Mogilev is Spartak Stadium
The Zabor art project in Mogilev will differ from previous ones. A special concept has been prepared for Mogilev citizens. The exhibition will be arranged in the form of a labyrinth, which viewers will need to go through to see the reproductions.
The Zabor art project is an exhibition of reproductions of modern Belarusian artists on fences of Belarusian cities. The project was first presented in Minsk in July last year. Then the exhibition was shown in Warsaw, then in Vitebsk. “The project is designed to raise the awareness of the Belarusians about modern art. We put up paintings on the fence because this is a public space where people walk by. Everyone can see the works of art,” the event organizer said.
The exhibition in Mogilev will stay open until 19 September.
