Belarus seeks to expand cooperation with the United Arab Emirates across a variety of areas, President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said as he met with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. According to the Belarusian head of sate, over a short span of time the relations between our countries have grown considerably stronger.
“The Republic of Belarus hopes that a vigorous political dialogue with the UAE will gain momentum. We are determined to advance our relations to a brand new level in all key areas of politics and economy,” Alexander Lukashenko said:

We see how rapidly your country advances. But it’s not about the development pace in Belarus or UAE. The point is that our economies complement each other, not rival. We see great prospects for our companies in the United Arab Emirates and vast opportunities for you in Belarus. Therefore, if we have things to offer to each other and if these projects are mutually beneficial, we should not waste our time, we should collaborate. We are glad that the UAE has never set any preliminary conditions for us and we are not going to link our cooperation to any political conditions.
