A Belarusian-Cuban meeting that took place at the House of Friendship gave a start to the Days of Cuba in Belarus. The meeting was dedicated to the 160th birthday of national Cuban hero Jose Marti. Attending the meeting were representatives of the Belarus-Cuba Society, the Cuban embassy, the Belarusian society of friendship and cultural relations with foreign countries.

      The most important thing is that our political dialogue is developing at the highest level. This was once again confirmed during the most recent visit of your President to Cuba, which was in June 2012. A month ago we arranged a meeting with the New Culture Minister and discussed a whole range of important issues.
But this is just the beginning of our cooperation, and we will move further in a number of various fields.
