Belarusian joint ventures with Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Iran planned

       The Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry is working on the projects to set up joint production facilities with Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Iran. The information was released by Agriculture and Food Minister Mr Leonid Zayats as he delivered a report to the government. In 2013 the merchandise export by the Agriculture and Food Ministry is supposed to rise by 16%. The Ministry has plans for working on traditional markets and plans to push products to other markets as well. “Belarus intends to promote cooperation in agriculture with Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Iran and other countries. Projects with these countries are being worked on, including projects to set up joint manufacturing facilities,” said the press service of the Belarusian government. 
       Leonid Zayats informed about plans to upgrade agricultural enterprises. The plans provide for concrete measures to retool existing production facilities and create new ones as well as master new kinds of products. The Minister also informed about major investment projects, which are earmarked for implementation in agriculture. The number includes the construction of modern enterprises to make dairy products, process turkey meat, pig-breeding farms, and broiler farms.
