President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has ordered to maximize the ease of land allocation procedures. The Belarusian head of state made this statement as he met with Chairman of the State Property Committee Georgy Kuznetsov.
Top on the agenda of the meeting was the draft law on amendments and additions to the Land Code of the Republic of Belarus. The head of state drew attention to the importance of the issue, because decisions regarding land allocation for construction and other purposes are made by the President and translate into a huge workload.
Alexander Lukashenko believes that the State Property Committee and the Belarus President Administration should team up to work out optimal solutions. President stressed that the regulations regarding the allocation of forests and other land plots for hunting, fishing and so on should be streamlined as well.
According to the head of state, control is a good thing, but it should not harm investment projects, housing construction.
