Belarus considers Afghanistan as a new partner for developing comprehensive cooperation, Vice Speaker of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Viktor Guminsky said at a meeting with Vice Speaker of the Senate of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Farhad Ghulam Sakhi, BelTA reported.

“Belarus has never viewed and does not consider Afghanistan as a threat to our national interests,” added Viktor Guminsky. The Vice Speaker of the House of Representatives offered condolences with regard to terrorist attacks in Afghanistan. «We will do our best within the United Nations Organization to promote peaceful settlement of the process,» Viktor Guminsky also stressed. Farhad Ghulam Sakhi handed an invitation to Viktor Guminsky to visit Afghanistan.
