Heads and representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Belarus recited Yanka Kupala's poems in Belarusian at the event to celebrate the International Mother Language Day at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, BelTA reports. The diplomats recited excerpts from love poems by the classic of the Belarusian literature. Participants of the celebration also got acquainted with the exhibition “She and I” featuring the works of Belarus’ leading graphic artists dedicated to the topic of love in the multifaceted art of the first national poet of Belarus. Belarus Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei pointed out the Ministry plans to continue humanitarian cooperation with foreign partners, because it makes countries closer to each other and contributes to the mutual understanding between peoples.
