       Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei visited Germany on 12-14 February to take part in the 52nd Munich Security Conference, the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports. He held a number of bilateral meetings to  discuss the prospects for bilateral cooperation between Belarus and Germany. Due to Germany’s OSCE Chairmanship in 2016, the parties also considered the issues regarding collaboration within the organization. The Belarusian side put a special emphasis on the necessity to restore full-scale cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the European Union.
