Belarus has airlifted humanitarian aid to Iraqi Kurdistan, the Emergencies Ministry of Belarus reports. On 8 April a batch of humanitarian cargo will go to Syria. Iraqi Kurdistan will receive mobile diesel power plants, tents, blankets, tinned meat, and medications.
The humanitarian aid to Syria will comprise food products, including baby food, evaporated milk formula, wheat flour, and full cream milk powder.
The decision on providing humanitarian assistance was signed by Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko on 26 March.
