Belarus to attend conference on prevention of illicit drug supply to youth in Vienna

       Belarusian experts have taken part in the conference  on prevention of illicit drug supply to youth due in Vienna and will shared national experience in combating drug trafficking, spokesman for the Foreign Ministry of Belarus Andrei Savinykh told a press briefing. 
      “This event was organized by the OSCE Transnational Threats Department. It was aimed to support the efforts of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime,” said Andrei Savinykh. According to Andrei Savinykh, due to the grwoing drug threat, the OSCE conference was called to study new forms of combating illicit drugs and preventing their spread among young people.
      National and international experts shared information on smuggling channels and new methods of drugs supplies, new technologies. Belarus was represented at the conference by members of the department for prevention of drugs and human trafficking of the Interior Ministry.
