The Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC) has played a big role in the development of the Customs Union (CU) and the Single Economic Space (SES),
      Speaker of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko said at the EurAsEC IPA Bureau meeting, BelTA reports. “Over 14 years this organization had been forming the foundation of the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space. A lot had been done. The EurAsEC became a basis for the establishment of a more powerful union – the Eurasian Economic Union. On behalf of the National Assembly of Belarus I would like to express gratitude to every member of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly for the work we have done,” Vladimir Andreichenko said. The Speaker noted that it is important to use the accumulated experience in the work of the CIS and EEU IPAs. “To keep the people that worked for the benefit of the EurAsEC is no less important,” he added.
