Belarus, Hungary discuss ways to step up economic cooperation


      Belarus and Hungary have discussed ways to step up economic cooperation, the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry reports. Ambassador of Belarus to Hungary Alexander Khainovsky and State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Levente Magyar discussed ways to step up economic interaction between the two countries, including the implementation of the agreements reached during the fifth session of the Belarusian-Hungarian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation in Minsk in October 2014. The sides also discussed prospects of advancing credit, investment, and project cooperation, said the press service. The sides were satisfied with the growing trade in commodities and services so far this year, the positive influence of the direct air service between Minsk and Budapest on the development of interpersonal and official contacts, the development of interbank cooperation. Apart from that, the diplomats talked over problems of interaction with the European Union within the framework of international organizations.
