Belarus actively adopts the Israeli technologies in agriculture, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Israel Vladimir Skvortsov said at a meeting of the heads of Belarus’ diplomatic missions with representatives of the local business at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Vladimir Skvortsov also reported that in January-May of this year the export of Belarusian goods to the Israeli market increased by approximately 80% over the same period last year. Belarus has been boosting the export of services, such as computer ones. Last year, overall exports of services to Israel totaled $20 million. This year the growth continues.

      “Another important step in the development of cooperation between our countries is the transition from state guarantees to bank ones for investment projects in Belarus. The point is that not all projects can qualify for government guarantees. There are a number of projects that can be implemented under bank guarantees," said the head of the diplomatic mission. A working group has been set up to develop amendments to the framework agreement on financial cooperation between Belarus and Israel. These amendments will allow raising more actively bank loans under the guarantees of Belarusian banks for implementation of investment projects”.
