Magnificat Grand Prix goes to Poland

The Grand Prix of the international festival of Christian movies and TV programs Magnificat 2013, which took place in Sts. Simeon and Helena Church (the Red Church) on 4-5 January, went to the Polish documentary Matka 24H (Mother 24/7).
The film shot by producer Janos Krawczyk (Janos Film Production) tells about the copy of Our Lady of Czestochowa icon that has been travelling to big cities and small villages of Poland for 55 years already.
Competing in the festival were 17 pictures from ten countries.
The organizers are planning to hold Magnificat 2014 in the autumn. Some films that had been submitted for the festival in 2013 will be included into the program of Magnificat 2014.
The international festival of Christian movies and TV programs Magnificat has been recently held in Minsk, Glubokoye and other cities of Belarus. In 2012 the 8th edition of the festival featured the movies from over 16 countries.
