Organizers of the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 have set a task to help people with physical and sensory disabilities feel part of this big music show, BelTA has learned.
People with visual and hearing impairments will be able to follow the show with the help of audio commentary and subtitles. Austria is going to use the sign language during the online broadcast of the show following the experience of Sweden and Denmark. The full version of the contest and the music will be translated into the sign language by interpreters-performers. Besides, a tele-text will also be available. Blind people and people with poor vision will be able to follow the show with the help of audio commentary. People with disabilities will get an opportunity to attend one of the rehearsals of the show.
The slogan for the 2015 contest is "Building Bridges". Two semifinals of the show will be held on 19 and 21 May and the grand final on 23 May. Taking part in the 2015 contest will be representatives of 40 countries. The Belarusian duet Uzari & Maimuna will perform during the second half of the 2015 Eurovision first semifinal on 19 May.
