Science parks of Minsk, Changchun to expand cooperation

       The science parks of Minsk and China’s Changchun have plans to intensify cooperation, Vice Mayor of the Changchun Municipal People’s Government  Bai Xugui told reporters after he met with Minsk Vice Mayor Andrei Domoratsky. “Cooperation between entrepreneurs of Minsk and Changchun facilitates development of science and technology. We have plans to expand cooperation between the Chinese-Belarusian Sci-Tech Park in Changchun and the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park in Minsk. We also need to boost cooperation in the field of youth policy and culture, Bai Xugui said.
        His suggestions were upheld by Minsk Vice Mayor Andrei Domoratsky who said that the establishment of the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park will allow expanding the all-round bilateral cooperation. Andrei Domoratsky praised the increasing trade and economic cooperation between Minsk and China.
“The trade between Minsk and China makes up $610 million. China is the 18th biggest importer of products made in the Belarusian capital. All in all, Minsk sells to 200 countries worldwide,” he said.
