Experts of the Economy Ministry of Belarus and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation discussed cooperation in macroeconomic forecasting, BelTA learned from the press service of the Economy Ministry.
A delegation of the Belarusian Economy Ministry led by Deputy Minister Dmitry Yaroshevich visited Moscow to attend a working meeting at the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
“The experts of the Economy Ministry and Russian colleagues discussed organizational aspects of the process to develop macroeconomic forecasts in Russia and Belarus, the used tools, approaches to work with development scenarios. They also got familiar with the mechanism of data exchange between the subjects of the Russian Federation,” the press service said.
A separate issue on the agenda was the possibility of exchanging information about the forecasts of social and economic development of the two countries on a permanent basis.
